This week, our ESC volunteers visited 66 High School „Filip Stanislavov“ to meet both students and teachers. Together, they participated in workshops where they learned how to make Martinitsa, a beloved Bulgarian tradition. The volunteers also led energizers and games, providing an opportunity for students and volunteers to interact in a non-formal setting and build connections.
Yesterday marked the conclusion of the volunteers’ activities with the students of 66 High School, as they wrapped up their work on Martinitsa. The workshops allowed participants to continue fostering relationships in an informal way, while deepening their understanding of Bulgarian culture and becoming more familiar with their new environment.
