Нашият първи проект

За нас със сестра ми това беше първият проект, в който участвахме, тъй като сме само на 16 години. Останахме приятно изненадани от обстановката и хората, с които се запознахме. Всички бяха изключително мили и любезни. Посетихме красиви места, нагостиха ни с чудесна турска традиционна храна. Организаторите бяха прекрасни. Погрижиха се за нас сякаш бяхме високопоставени личности. Имахме възможност да опознаем хора от други култури и религии, да практикуваме английски език, който учим от деца. Бяхме впечатлени, когато говорехме на български помежду си и установихме, че участниците от Хърватска, с които станахме много добри приятели ни разбират, както и ние тях. Беше чудесно, а същевременно и преживяване, което те кара да се замислиш. Участниците с увреждания бяха непрекъснато с нас и участваха във всички дейности. За първи път се почуствахме колко неща е необходимо да бъдат съобразени в средата около нас, за да се чувстват те добре и да имат равен достъп до всичко, което на нас ни се струва толкова лесно достижимо. Замислихме се как бихме могли да направим света по-достъпен за тях… Благодарим на всички за едни от най-прекрасните ни 9 дни. Вярваме, че и за напред ще останем приятели.

Our first project

For me and my sister, this was the first project we took part in because we are only 16 years old. We were pleasantly surprised by the situation and the people we met. Everyone was extremely kind and polite. We visited beautiful places, and treated ourselves with wonderful Turkish traditional food. The organizers were wonderful. They took care of us as if we were high-ranked personalities. We had the opportunity to get to know people from other cultures and religions, to practice English that we used to learn since we were children.
We were impressed when we spoke in Bulgarian between each other and we found out that the Croatian participants, with whom we became very good friends, understood us and we understood them as well. It was great, and at the same time an experience that gives you food for thought. Disabled participants were continuosly with us and participated in all activities. For the first time, we felt how many things have to be accommodated in the environment around us in order to make them feel good and provide equal access to everything that seems so easy for us to achieve.
We started thinking about how we could make the world more accessible to them… Thank you all for some of our finest 9 days. We believe that we will continue to be friends for the future.

Nuestro primer proyecto

Para mí y mi hermana, este fue el primer proyecto en el que participamos porque solo tenemos 16 años. Nos sorprendió gratamente la situación y la gente que conocimos. Todos fueron extremadamente amables y educados. Visitamos lugares hermosos, y nos tratamos con maravillosa comida tradicional turca. Los organizadores fueron maravillosos. Nos cuidaron como si fuéramos personalidades de alto rango. Tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer personas de otras culturas y religiones, practicar inglés que solíamos aprender desde que éramos niños.
Nos quedamos impresionados cuando hablamos en búlgaro entre nosotros y descubrimos que los participantes croatas, con quienes nos hicimos muy buenos amigos, nos entienden y nosotros los entendemos también. Fue grandioso, y al mismo tiempo una experiencia que te da algo para pensar. Los participantes discapacitados estuvieron continuamente con nosotros y participaron en todas las actividades. Por primera vez, sentimos cuántas cosas tienen que acomodarse en el entorno que nos rodea para que se sientan bien y proporcionen el mismo acceso a todo lo que nos parece tan fácil de lograr.
Empezamos a pensar en cómo podíamos hacer que el mundo fuera más accesible para ellos… Gracias a todos por algunos de nuestros mejores 9 días. Creemos que seguiremos siendo amigos para el futuro.
