“Conscious Consumption” was a Training Course organized by MIHI Latvia. The project had 26 participants from 8 countries: Latvia, Bulgaria, Spain, Poland, Italy, Romania, Greece, and France. Project co-funded by the European Union “Erasmus+” programme and was held between April 18th – 26th, 2024, in Sigulda, Latvia. The project aimed to give knowledge how to create a more conscious and environmentally friendly world. The participants delved into challenges like pollution and climate change, seeking innovative solutions using sustainable practices. Through non-formal education methods, they honed their skills and forged international bonds, laying the groundwork for future collaborative projects. Activities included practical workshops, creating online campaigns, visiting a Free shop in Riga, debates, and diverse interactive sessions tailored to different learning styles, maximizing outcomes. Each country brought its unique flavor and approach to the events, showcasing the diversity and creativity within our teams. From workshops to discussions, to showcasing the games our multiplier events celebrated the project and the months of hard work and dedication towards its goals. Overall, it was an amazing experience that combined knowledge and fun in the heart of beautiful Latvia.
