The project “Youth Workers Playing Games” was a study visit under “Erasmus+” programme, implemented between 18-23 November, 2019 in Nurmes, Finland. Within the project we inspired dialogue, discussion and new ideas on using digital methods in youth work. The project was developed to share practices of Finnish youth work organizations to contribute to capacity building of participants. This project implied a study visit to Finland from partner organizations from Cyprus, Georgia, Sweden, Italy, Morocco and Bulgaria. Hosting organizations in Finland are Hyvärilä and Metsäkartano youth centers located next to each other, and bearing many similarities, yet each having unique features. Participants of the study visit were youth workers and volunteers from partner organizations, who either use or intend on using digital youth work methods, and want to learn about the Finnish experience. The participants exchanged good practices but also acquired new knowledge about digital tools, methods and innovative approaches they can use in their everyday work with young people and specific target groups from rural and remote areas.
