(Vocational High School of Trade and Restaurant Business – Vratsa)
My name is Liliya and I am 18 years old. I was born in the city of Vratsa. I’m a student of the Vocational High School of Trade and Restaurant Business – Vratsa. I applied to participate in the educational mobility project “Training, practices and initiatives in tourism” organized by the Bulgarian Youth Forum under the programme “Erasmus+”. After a competition in school, I was approved among the candidates. The project took place during April 2015 in the Republic of Greece, Kassandra Peninsula. The project was attended by students of several professional schools of our country. I had the opportunity to meet with each of them. We were staying at a hotel “Anastasia Resort & Spa” – 5*. The team of professionalists of the hotel assisted us in the work at the reception, kitchen, lobby and restaurant. It was a real honor to be in a team with students, staff and our organizers. Our work was in a real work environment, exercising our language and professional skills. We visited many tourist destinations in the region that were included in the programme.
I received a document “Europass Mobility” and a certificate of Bulgarian Youth Forum for successful performance in the project. Participation in this project helped me to learn many new things in my profession, and I think that they will be of significant benefit to my future career.
Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the project!
