“Tasting Europe”

“Tasting Europe”, 08.07-17.07.2013, La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain

Тhe event was under Action 1.1 (Youth Exchanges) under “Youth in Action” programme, focusing on sustainability, art and culture, youth exchanges and environment. In the 9 days participants from 5 countries learned how to cook different European recipes from each partner country and shared with local people at different community centers. They also learned how food production is connected to the environmental protection through a visit to an eco-farm. and got to know about concepts like Km.0 food, ecological footprint or home compost making.
